Join us in welcoming the spectacular portrait artist Faj (aka Dan O’Donnell)! The subject matter of Faj’s figurative work comes directly from his dreams. His imaginative portraits capture the excitement, fear, and wonderment in the sensations of fall and flight.
Los Sabrosos Dance Co. is hosting the first Gallery Opening of the collection on Friday, May 3rd, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A second show will occur on June 7th, 2024.
The exhibition will be available for viewing at the studio from May 3rd, 2024, until June 30th, 2024.

Faj (aka Dan ODonnell) paints figurative subjects and portraits using acrylic medium on stretched canvas. Favorite subjects for portrait work include edgy models, kids, brides, grandparents and parents. Faj painted as a teenager and at classes at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. For the last 35 years Faj has been the Creative Director of Direct Axis, a graphic design and web design firm.
In November 2020, Faj decided to start painting portraits. Faj’s concentration on figurative painting is fairly new, having started in July 2023. The subject matter of Faj’s figurative work comes directly from his dreams. He flys, jumps very long distances (sometimes over a mile), he falls out of the sky. From a standing position, he catches wind and floats upwards. Faj hovers over streets and then blast forward at an incredible rate. Faj does not paint images of himself, but each painting represents him.
